Custom Clothing FAQ
We offer custom tuxedos, suits, sport coats, and dress shirts—each made to your specifications. Whether you’re dressing for a black-tie wedding, business event, or personal style, our Fort Worth showroom is equipped to help you create a wardrobe that fits you perfectly.
Most garments are delivered within 4–5 weeks from the date of order. Rush service may be available depending on fabric availability and production schedules. We recommend visiting our shop early if you're planning for a wedding or special event.
Renting a tuxedo is a practical option for one-time events, and our rental options are among the best available.
A custom tuxedo is an investment - with a pattern adjusted and cut to your body, in your choice of style and fabric. For grooms, black-tie galas, or long-term use, made-to-measure garments offer a level of tailoring and personalization that cannot be matched by even the best rentals.
We use the word "custom" to describe our collection since is not true bespoke. Many made-to-measure programs call themselves "bespoke," but only a limited number of tailors around the world offer true "bespoke" tailoring.
Bespoke tailoring means every component is unique to you, most importantly a unique pattern designed from scratch for you. These services are most famous on Savile Row in London, where prices begin at least 5 times what our custom garments start at. Bespoke services provide beautiful, custom garments, but are far less accessible.
Our custom program is made-to-measure, which means we start with existing patterns using try-on garments, then adjust the base pattern to fit your body. This includes 1/5 cm incremental adjustments to everything from the point-to-point, shoulder blades, biceps, cuff, front waist, back waist, trouser waist, seat, rise, thighs, trouser bottom, etc. You choose the fabric, lining, lapel, buttons, and styling details.
Our custom garments are neither “off the rack” nor fully bespoke, but a refined balance of personal fit, craftsmanship, and efficiency that results in a beautiful custom garment tailored for, and designed by, you.
Yes. We regularly assist grooms and their groomsmen with custom or rental tuxedos.

Absolutely! Our custom program includes lightweight jackets and seasonal fabrics such as linen and wool-silk blends for the summer and heavy tweeds and cashmere for the winter, offering a wide variety of more casual suiting options tailored to your lifestyle.
In fact, most of our regular customers purchase seasonal sport coats.
We are here to help clients build a versatile wardrobe, whether a tuxedo or linen trousers, one piece at a time.
The custom design process is fairly straightforward.
Upon meeting you for your first appointment or fitting, our immediate task is to understand your needs, style, tastes, and preferences. This allows us to guide you in a direction resulting in a garment you will wear confidently. For example, if a client has conservative style with a closet full of blue clothing yet sees a bold pattern in a vibrant color, we might suggest some alternative fabrics better suited to his needs and tastes.
Once we select the fabric, we will consider the style elements such as lapel style, buttons, linings, etc. This is the most fun part of the process and where one's selections express his individuality.
Next, we will take your measurements. Starting with try-on garments, we will make adjustments to create a pattern based on your unique proportions.
Once your measurements, cloth, and style selections are confirmed, we will send this information to our factory in Italy. They will produce your garment and send it to us in about 4-6 weeks.
Once your garment arrives, we will have you come in for a final fitting. Your garment should fit well at this time, but if any additional adjustments are required, our in-house tailor will complete those alterations quickly.
This is one of our most frequently asked questions, but somewhat difficult to answer.
Our fabrics are sourced from the finest European mills including Loro Piana, Holland and Sherry, Scabal, Caccioppoli, and others. Pricing varies widely based on cloth selection, and optional details such as hand-sewn buttonholes can increase the cost slightly.
A typical custom tuxedo is about $2,500 and a sport coat is about $1,600. For reference, a sport coat might be $900 or $3,000 depending on the fabric selection.
No, you do not need to make an appointment; walk-ins are always welcome. If you would like to make an appointment or have any questions, please contact us.
Our team is here to assist you however we can. We strive to make the custom process as enjoyable as possible, from your first fitting and style selections to your final completed garment
Most importantly, we are here to guide you in creating a garment you will wear happily and one that fits your lifestyle. We will never up-sell you, and more often will guide you to less expensive fabrics that offer more durability than our most expensive offerings.
